2024 Circus Arts Summer Day Camp in Central Phoenix

Session 1: Monday June 3 – Friday June 7
Session 2: Monday June 10 – Friday June 14
Session 3: Monday June 17, 18, 20, 21 (Wed June 19 is a holiday)
You can sign up for any combination of sessions- if a preferred session indicates it is sold out, please add you contact information here to have your child put on a waitilist

Times: 9AM – 3PM each day (drop-off time from 8:30AM-9:00AM)
Location: The gymnasium at Capitol Elementary School 

Who can sign up?: kids ages 7 – 16

What will the kids do?: Campers will learn all the circus basics – juggling of different forms (flower sticks, balls, clubs, poi, diabolos, plate spinning, hula hoops), acrobatics (tumbling, mini-trampoline, partner acrobatics, human pyramids), and balancing (tight wire, rolling globe, rola bola, stilts, and unicycles). Aerial skills (silks, lyra, Spanish Web, and trapeze) and clowning are also offered. Each camper gets to try all the different skills, then towards the end of the week, they choose two to specialize in. The last day of camp finishes with a show for family and friends!

Cost: Circus camp sessions are $275 per week. ($225 for the third session which is only 4 days). A camper can attend any number or combination of weeks of camp. Limited scholarships will be available for campers who are students in existing PYCA school programs. Sorry, but in order to maintain better control of enrollment numbers, we cannot offer discounts for siblings or for multiple weeks.
Parents available to provide administrative assistance during camp staff hours (8AM - 4PM) can be given credit for their child's camp costs. Contact Jens ([email protected]) for more information on scholarships or administrative opportunities.

Camp limit: Registrations will be limited to 32 campers for each session

Cancellation policy – Full payment is due to register for camp. If you need to cancel your registration, you can get a full refund as long as it is within 6 weeks of the purchase date and more than four weeks from the start of the camp session you have paid for. Less than four weeks  prior to the start of a camp session, credit will be given for camps in the future and handled on a case-by-case basis.
